Northumbria Pharma was co-founded in 2016 by Paul Watson and Samer Taslaq, both bringing a wealth of pharmaceutical experience.
Paul has over 25 years of pharmaceutical experience, having worked at GlaxoSmithKline in various roles, including product stability and release testing, supplier quality assurance, product formulation and development, and quality management for routine pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Paul has previously managed contract manufacturing sites across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, overseeing new product development, technical product transfers, and regulatory dossier remediation and submission. His extensive knowledge of quality assurance is ingrained in the ethos of Northumbria Pharma, ensuring that quality remains a fundamental priority in everything we do.
Samer graduated from Imperial College Medical School in 2004 and holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Imperial College London. His extensive medical background and entrepreneurial spirit drives our commitment to produce innovative patient-focused pharmaceuticals.
