Samer co-founded Northumbria pharma in 2016.
He qualified from Imperial College Medical School in 2004. He has a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Imperial College London.
Paul has attained over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience whilst working for GlaxoSmithKline in a variety of functions: product stability and release testing; supplier quality assurance auditing of packaging material, raw material and active pharmaceutical ingredient suppliers; product formulation and development and quality management of routine pharmaceutical product manufacture and release.
Prior to setting up Northumbria Pharma in 2016, Paul spent 5 years managing contract manufacture sites in Europe, Middle East and Africa. His roles included new product development and introduction; technical product transfers; product formulation; setting up low cost packaging material suppliers; regulatory dossier remediation; regulatory dossier submission and day-to-day quality management of contract manufacture sites.
Paul’s extensive experience has provided him with an in depth knowledge of quality and the critical role that quality plays in each lifecycle stage from pharmaceutical development to product release. This quality ethos has been woven into the DNA of Northumbria Pharma.
